“Meeting Grandma and the two grandsons she is raising was so awesome! Because of a connection over a car seat, pull ups and wipes, she shared with us some of her current struggles with today's economy and how her community depends on her to gather and connects with neighbors. She shared how she used to organize block parties in this low income neighborhood but hasn't been able to do it for a few years. Right away the wheels were turning in our minds to find a way to come along side her and help the block party continue! We are excited to see how this relationship might grow!”
